1859 Balloon Voyage
Discover one of the earliest chapters of aviation history at Conner Prairie’s newest historic experience, 1859 Balloon Voyage. Experiment with the science and technology of ballooning, then soar 350 feet above the landscape in a tethered, helium-filled balloon and see the world like John Wise did!
Welcome Center
The Welcome Center is the perfect place for an introduction to Conner Prairie. It’s filled with fun, interactive activities and an orientation video produced just for you! Conner Prairie representatives are on hand to help you make the most of your visit. Food and shopping are also available.
Lenape Indian Camp
Explore the wigwams in Conner Prairie's earliest historic area. Experience the lives of the Lenape, or Delaware, Indians and strike a deal with a fur trader.
1836 Prairietown
Discover what life was like in 1836 Indiana when you visit Prairietown, a pioneer settlement bustling with activity. Jump in and help with chores, talk medicine or politics, and feel the heat from the blacksmith’s forge! Try your hand at pioneer games or visit with the town folk and trade stories.
1886 Liberty Corner
Help the Zimmermans around the farm and learn about life in 1886 Indiana. Each chore is a great way to work as a team to get a project done! Before you leave, stop in for a lesson at the local school, run the bases on the historic baseball field or try your skill with hoop and stick.
William Conner Homestead
Peek into William Conner’s world when you visit his homestead, a treasured piece of Indiana history. Explore the Loom House, and get up close and personal with some of our animals in the Conner Barn..
