Terry Anker elected to Conner Prairie board of directors
FISHERS, Ind. (June 23, 2009) Terry Anker, chairman of Anker Consulting Group Inc., has joined the Conner Prairie Interactive History Park’s board of directors.
As the chairman of Anker Consulting Group, Anker spends much of his time advising small business throughout Indiana on the acquisition of capital from public and private sources. He is also the associate editor and partner of Current Publishing LLC. Its holdings include Current in Carmel and Current in Westfield weekly newspapers and the Carmel Business Leader.
A native of White County, Ind., Anker holds a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Indiana University in Bloomington as well as a doctorate in law from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Anker is involved in many community organizations, including the Indiana Humanities Council, Indiana University’s College of Arts & Sciences alumni board and Happy Hollow Children’s Camp. He resides in Carmel with his wife Carolyn and two young sons.
The board of Conner Prairie Museum Inc. oversees operations and engages community members in supporting the institution.
